We developed and brought to market this unique extrusion machinery in the early 1950's. Trademarked the Expander-Extruder-Cooker™ to identify it's three functions it is one of the most versatile units of machinery in Anderson's group. Its first use was for the cooking of kibbled corn and quickly found it's place as a superior method of producing high volumes of formulated feeds for the growing petfoods industry. It's ability to thoroughly cook, bind the formulation without adhesives or binders, shape the product, and control it's density by discharge expansion, brought rapid recognition in the served industry.

 

Since the development of this unique mechanical cooker, our expertise has broadened to provide complete systems for it's use in plant operations. Today we are fully staffed for the design, project management, R&D, plant system layout and on sight start-up and training of this equipment and related systems.
